What's with the heat wave?!

It sure is hot outside and we want to do our part to make sure the community is staying safe these next few days! Below, we have compiled a list on how to stay safe and protected during some of our hottest days!

-Limit time outdoors and avoid direct sunlight. Heat stroke can happen in as little as 15 minutes.

-WATER, WATER, WATER! Make sure you are keeping yourself hydrated.

- Wear loose, lightweight, light-colored clothing.

- Never sit in a parked car or leave a pet or person in a parked car.

-Stay in air conditioned buildings.

-Children and seniors are most at risk for heat exhaustion, help keep them cool! Popsicles, ice cream or any delicious frozen treat is a great way to cool down!

-Check on your neighbors!

STAY SAFE OUT THERE!
