Community School Has Water Damage

The water damage in the hallway of this local school in Clinton, IA was the result of a broken sprinkler system. SERVPRO of Clinton received the call on a late Sunday afternoon and responded quickly to begin water mitigation services. The hallway had some standing water which we were able to extract immediately. We set up some equipment and began the drying process. The water came down through the ceiling so we had to remove the wet ceiling tiles before they fell or before mold would start to develop. There were a couple of classrooms and offices that were also affected in which we set equipment and took out affected carpet. The customers were expecting a long process, but they were thrilled when we were complete with the work in 4 days.
